The past weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park was very successful for the Subject Motorsports - Good Cars Only  Formula Mazda.  Going into the weekend, due to two missed race weekends, we dropped to second in the points.  Our work was clearly cut out for us to regain the points lead. We qualified 2nd - in race 1, we had a poor start dropping back to 5th position. We were able to break free of the pack and finished P3. In race 2, we had a much better start and tracked down the 2nd place car to within a half second at the checkered flag and we set fastest lap in race 2. In race 3, we had a very good start and managed to stay in contact with 1st and 2nd place cars. We caught and passed the 2nd place car after he bobbled in turn four. We then set our sights on the 1st place car and tracked him down at the checkered flag, finishing less than a half second behind in P2. Again, we set the fastest lap of the race - a personal best 1:25.2. We ended up P2 for the weekend and we have retaken the points lead in the CASC-OR Formula Libre Championship with one race weekend to go!!
